I love how last night conversation made us whole
Everytime I hear your voice, it seems that the distance gets shorter and shorter
We were talking about everything that we will do together when I get home
We were talking about the time where our love was so pure
We made our promise that we could never break
Your words were the cure for this loneliness
I love the way you said you'll never leave me
I love everything about you
And when the conversation ended, we laid our head to rest
We both listened to the songs we love
Everything seemed so right and I slept with a smile on my face
Until the morning came
And I realized that I'm still alone here
I kept on counting the remaining days until I make it home
I kept on reading your letters, hoping that they were said in front of my own face
So I can hear them with my own ears
So I can remember the tone of your voice
Because your scent has been completely lost
I have nothing but these photographs and our book
I lost my ability to write down everything that I've been done here with my friends
Because I hate to write if I wasn't with you
Because things will never be the same when you're not here and I'm not there
